15 Month update:)

 This past month has gone by EXTREMELY fast and Maylee is getting bigger and bigger everyday!

Our favorite activities from this past month were probably going to the lake with some of Sam's classmates/instructors, having Grandpa Shawn visit, and going to the fair.
Maylee loved going on the boat and was such a good girl the whole time! She got to go tubing for the first time and by the end was soooo tired that she actually fell asleep in my arms!!

We loved having Shawn visit and we all got so spoiled by him.. We got to play at the park and go to the Zoo which Maylee absolutely loved!

We had so much fun at the fair in Lebanon. Maylee got to pet pigs, chickens, and goats. She played in a tub full of corn (who would have known how fun that could be). And she got to wear her cowgirl boots for the first time!

I started working again this month two days a week so Maylee has been spending a lot of time with her friend Cameron and does really well with the Sitter. She cries for about a second when I leave and by the time I come and pick her up she is having so much fun she doesn't want to go home. It was extremely hard to leave her but probably a lot harder on me then it is on her!

Maylee's 15 month check up went well. She got 3 shots : ( and had an eye exam with all good results. She has had a fever the last few days after the shots but seems to be doing better today. She has been really snuggly so there is a plus for her not feeling her best. : )

Weight: 20 lbs. 10 oz.
Height: 30 inches
She did go up in the percentiles and is now in the 10-25% for weight and 25-50% for height so she did have a little growth spurt the last few months. :)

Maylee has started to talk more and more. It is still hard to tell what she is saying but every once in awhile we will catch a word or two.

Maylee has started to really love to dance lately and she has some really good moves! One of our favorite shows is SYTYCD and she loves dancing with the dancers :)

Maylee also has a few new teeth she has 6 on top and 4 on the bottom with two more teeth coming in on the bottom right now. She has been a lot sadder with these teeth then she has been with the past ones coming in. The molars just don't look like fun at all to have breaking through. Other than that not too much has changed with Maylee she is still just as happy as can be and so so so much fun to be around!!

Maylee's 14 Month update :)

Maylee is now 14 months and 5 days old :) Her personality is starting to show more and more everyday and it is soo much fun!

Her favorite things:

• Feeding Jimmer treats (don't know how he is so skinny still)
• Basically anything to do with Jimmer :)

• She loves coloring and thinks its more fun to color the floor and walls more than the paper 
  
• She loves Standing up on EVERYTHING... such a dare devil!
  
  
• She loves getting the mail. We are not allowed to walk past the mail boxes without spending at least 5 minutes there checking all the mailboxes!
  
• She loves to bring us books and sitting in our lap. She doesn't sit there for us to read the book but its a step closer to reading :)
• She loves having the kids I babysit come over! Everytime they get out of the car Maylee squeals!
  
• Her favorite song is If you're happy and you know it and will start clapping when the song comes on before the words even start!
• She loves giving high fives!
• She has started to blow kisses.
• She loves to make Indian noises. 
• She is starting to like being in the pool more and more... She loves running around the pool but the pool has been pretty cold up until now so she hasn't loved getting in!
  
  
  
  
• She is a social laugher. If anyone laughs Maylee is sure to join in! 
• She loves doing crafts and going to babies and books at the library
 

• She loves attention and always makes sure you are paying attention to her
• She loves her bunny lovey and HAS to have it to sleep! 
• She loves feeding herself and is starting to try and use utensils... meals are getting a lot longer and A LOT messier :)

• And now she will carry on conversations with you even though it is just rambling it is so cute!

This past month has been a lot of fun we had Sam's older brother Paul and his family visit at the end of June. We toured downtown nashville with them, went to the lake, played at the pool, went to the splash pad and just played at the house with them while they were here. Here are some pictures from that visit!

We also celebrated the fourth of July this month... it was rainy all day long so all the parades were cancelled so we decided to decorate our own float and have a Leatham parade at home!

Another holiday we just had to celebrate was cow appreciation day at chick fil a :) Free dinner to dress up as a cow... of course we had to! Maylee doesn't look like she liked being a cow but she really does love her chick fil a!

13 months old and vacation time!

Maylee is now 13 months old.... and this last month went by so so fast! Me and Maylee took a trip back to Utah and Nevada to visit family for a week and a half and had a BLAST! We missed Sam while we were away but it was so nice to see family!

While we were in Utah we threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law Ashley and her soon to be little girl Zoey. We had a brunch and played games.... it was a small shower but so nice to be with family! Here are a few pictures from that.

 We tried to guess how big Ashley's baby bump is.... Mom was just a little off! But Lindsey got pretty close to being right on the dot!

Maylee loved playing and snuggling with her Aunts and Uncles....

And spent a lot of time playing in water since it was always over a 100 degrees while we were there!

We even got to see one of our Nashville friends that had just moved to St. George a month before.... At least they moved somewhere were we will be visiting a lot :)

After our visit to St. George we got to go spend time at Grandma and Grandpas house in Logandale... Maylee had so much fun playing outside with the ducks and horses. She even got to pick tomatoes at a friends garden and get in a tractor! She was one busy girl!

She had a lot of fun with all of the different puppies that she got to meet but especially Copper. She tried to wrap him in a blanket and give him a bottle. : ) Such a silly girl! She was a little sad when she got home and Jimmer still won't let her get too close!

We had such a blast playing with so much family while we were there it was hard to go home! I was nervous about doing all the flying with Maylee by myself but overall she was GREAT! She was pretty wiggly on our first flight home but slept the entire time on our second flight which was a nice surprise since she hates sleeping in my arms! I guess we wore her out...
